    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I was diagnosed December 18th 2003. It was right before Christmas and I knew that in the coming months that there would be a lot of chemo and possibly radiation to follow.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Chemo racked my body with pain. I was hospitalized 2 times with neutropena. It left me with Fibromyalgia, and neuropathy. I don't know if I were to get cancer again if I would choose chemo again.

    External radiation

    Radiation

Radiation was tough but not as bad as chemo. I was tired a lot with radiation but carried on my daily life. It was like hitting a wall at 2 p.m. everyday though. I would get so tired I would have to sit down or lie down and rest.

    Painless Experience: Disagree
    Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Strongly Disagree

    Chemo brain

    Side Effects

I had chemo brain for about 2 years. I wondered if I would ever get my brain back again. The doctors said that they had never seen anyone have so much trouble with chemo.
