    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

They gave me 5 FU and I had a strong reaction to it. Very tired, neuropothy, and the mucus in my mouth. Had scabs on both of my lips from one end to the other. Couldn't eat or drink. This was before surgery. After surgery I am on two different types of chemo and am doing a lot better. Have treatment every two weeks and now have 5 more months to go!

    Colostomy

    Procedure or Surgery

My colostomy is not reversible. I read all I could on the internet so I was not blind going into surgery. I thought my life would end, but it has not been nearly as bad as I feared. Had a few mishaps but at least I am alive!
