    alopecia-->all my hair

    Loss

    broke my spirit when it started falling out. i didnt know. and my family didnt want to tell me. i found out one afternoon when i was doing my hair to go to a family event...a huge bald spot in the back of my head. it went perfectly with the spot around my surgery scar that was starting to thin out.

    Other

    Side Effects

    a high risk for my tumor to start back up, means i am listed as totally and permanently disabled. which means that working, going to school, keeping my car, and even living on my own are out of the equation. its a rough situation for a 23 year old who is used to working and taking care of herself.

    Breakthrough

    Celebration

    I have decided that since I am at a good point in my recovery, I need to start acting on my life plans. They have changed greatly, but I am ok with that. I've learned that everyday is a blessing, and I need to start LIVING.
