    Problem with doctor

    Oh No

After waiting 9 months for my colonscopy I had the "oh no" moment when he said yes you do have cancer. He was so busy he couldn't get me in sooner even tho I had ALL of the classical symtoms

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

2 years after my initial experience I had a CTscan "to make me feel better" as my doctor put it and they found 3 tumors in my liver. I was harpooned to make sure it was cancer and then proceeded with treatment. My doctor suggested that surgery wasn't an option as it will only come back so sent me for "shaped-beam radiation therapy" I have 10 days of focused radiation to the 3 spots in my liver. No skin damage and the liver grows back.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I had 5fu/leu with the infusion and then 2 days with the pump and camptosar. Lost my hair. by the last two treatments the drug had become toxics and gave me interesting neurological side effects. I started with a doctor who told me I was a "very sick woman" and this chemo "was palliative". We called him doctor doom and got a new doctor.
