Oh No
I was a single mother, I didn't know enough about Cancer, but all I knew was I was scares. I started going through all my possesions, and cleaning out, selling or giving the things away that no longer seemed important to me. I didn't tell my son, I thought, "WHy make him worry", I wouldn't do that agian. This is something that I now realize, you don't have to ever do alone.
Surgery
Procedure or Surgery
I had an allergic reaction to the pain meds, and for some reason still unknown to my doctor, my electrolights have been unbalanced sine, but I take meds for that now. The physical part heals, what I would suggest to everyone, talk to someone, get help with the emotional side of things. It's been 6 years this month for me, and I am a strong survivoir, no longer a victim.
Remission
Celebration
This September 2012, I will have been in Remission 6 years. I have "walked for a Cure", several years now, and the feeling of support is something I will always be greatful for. I look at life different today, the sky looks bluer, friends laugh's seem louder, and the love I have for my family and friends grew stronger.... I just wish the world could see its beauty, without having to have that wake up call called Cancer. DOn't ever give up, becuase each day, no each moment in this world is another opprotunity to reall live!!!
