    Procedure or Surgery

Due to the heriditery nature of my cancer, I decided to have a total colectomy. My wonderful surgeon directely connected my small intestine to my rectum. No colostomy was needed. However, learning to live with diahrea 24/7 was a process. With full recover, chemo complete and medication adjustments, I now lead a very normal life. But it was a process that took about 3 years before I would say I felt normal again.

    Went as Expected: Strongly Agree

    Minimal Side Effects: Strongly Disagree
