    Diagnosed

    Oh No

May 2009: I just thought I had pneumonia! Three doctors and 3 diagnosis later it turns out I had a very rare form of cancer called Lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma of the Lung (LELC).

Right lung completely removed, Thymus removed, some Lymph nodes removed, part of pericardium removed and patched.

    Procedure or Surgery

Once again I was lucky to have 1 of the best thoracic surgeons in the USA and I recovered quickly and without much side effects.

    Brachy Therapy and external radiation

    Radiation

The radiation did give me mild indigestion and did some minimal damage to the left lung. My heart rate is always around 120 bpm since treatment stopped which is a pretty high normal.
