Drug or Chemo Therapy
The Taxal they gave me for 4 treatments also gave me nueropathy of hands and feet. I am now in a power chair as walking is totaly out of the question. I am also on Oxygen 24/7 at 2ls per min.The only good thing is my cancer is in remission have not seen it for 2 years. This all started on my birthday in 2010, Happy Birthday from all the Drs concerned. They told me I was in stage 4 and that my days were numbered. Well 2 years and 6 months later and no cancer is pretty good. The first 3 treatments were fine no adverse side effects were noticed, well maybe one ( my neck gained about 4 inches overnight) it was as my cousin stated dead cancer cells moving into my neck looking for a place to leave my body. I don't belive in fariytales but no one else could describe why it was so large. Getting back to the last treatment, I think they gave me a larger dose and my body reacted with the Nueropathy.
Nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy)
