Diagnosed
Oh No
As a 2 time survivor, not only am I lucky, but did have great support. But truly, as we are being constantly cared for, by dr's and family, all I wanted some some normalacy...I wanted to hear the humor that we all have. I feel when we have some of that, we can concentrate on getting better. I did go thru Chemo twice and radiation in between. Then in 2000 I had thyroid cancer...but I knew only the "good" die young so I would be here for a while longer. Have a great day and enjoy life and ALWAYS keep you sense of humor
Lumpectomy
Procedure or Surgery
We will always have a few things to deal with, but nothing we can't handle. I was able to work the whole time thru chemo and had my radiation on my lunch hr.
External radiation
Radiation
Piece of cake, but it does make you tired...the good news is that if you had a lumpectomy, your breast won't sag...LOL
Drug or Chemo Therapy
Being a single female and losing my hair and then gaining weight really really sucked.
