    None

    Decision Point

Diagnosed at 42. I had a RLP, for me I don't think I had much of a choice at that age.

    Procedure or Surgery

Doctors even in 2005 were not telling patients of the sexual side effects after this type of surgery. It is something you deal with now the rest of your life.

    Birthday

    Celebration

Never thought I would make it, now in my 51st year, 9 years since surgery, and enjoying every day of life now. Going to finally file for that early disability retirement and fight that battle with the government, but it's one I'm praying and hoping to win! I need to live whatever years I have left stress free, and it's not about the money, it's about living for Me/You, and enjoying family, friends, and still being here, many aren't. I don't get on here as much as I should, but when I do it is always uplifting in some sort of way. Thanks all

    Early retirement

    Decision Point

Don't quite know what has hit me, but turning 50 last year was a great milestone for me, I had Made it! But now having turned 51 it seems my brain is saying, "stop, enjoy today and the future for we don't know what it will bring" I'll lose a lot of money by going early, but I want to enjoy some quality of like before this cancer comes back!, Will it? who knows. I haven't been on here in a long time and just wanted to put my thoughts down I guess.
