Cancer has spread/Metastasized
Oh No
This person has yet to add any details about this experience.
Bone Biopsy
Procedure or Surgery
Investigated leg pain due to bone scan and. Found that ovarian cancer cells, which I never dreamed I could have, had metastasized to my rt femur.
External radiation
Radiation
Radiation was a breeze initially but then developed open sores and burning. Had eventual myosotis and fascitis develop and I am now unable to walk any distance other than around my house.
Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
Pet scan showed my Ovarian cancer had spread to. My lungs and hilum area and in my adrenal glands. I do not have ovarian cancer in my abdomen! My doctors have never seen a case like this. Carboplatil and taxol did not help, tried Doxil, horrid side effects. Tumor marker has gone up again so going to another doctor for another opinion. I feel like my time is running out!
Hand foot syndrome
Side Effects
The first round was not bad but the second round caused horrible mouth sores and then the hand foot syndrome kicked in. I was also very fatigued from this round for almost the entire month.
