    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Stage IV ovarian cancer...and I haven't had ovaries for 20 years!! It manifested itself in my right lung 3 years ago as a pleural effusion, CA 125 levels were high, but no one ever followed up. This year, I asked for an xray during a bout with the flu and voila, too many masses and nodules to count.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Carboplatin and taxol make me sick for about 5 days. After 2nd infusion, infection in vein, so port installed 4 days ago. Oh, and Neulasta needed from now on as well. Thank heaven for Claritin!!
