    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

Was hard to see myself without breasts. I did have reconstructive surgery. I opted for bilateral mastectomy even though it was only my left breast with the tumors. no lymph nodes were affected .

    Decision Point

The day I found out I had breast cancer I knew then that I wanted a bilateral mastectomy. only one breast had cancer but I didn't think twice about my decision. I don't regret it at all.
