    Milestones

Today, Feb 22, five years ago, I was told I had esophageal cancer. You all know that feeling. I was 58 yrs old, active, eight loving grandchildren, 4 children, a loving and supportive wife, a praying community. Diagnosed at stage 2 with node involvement. Ivor Lewis surgery followed by 2 months of chemo. Feeling very grateful and fully engaged with EC communities with prayer and support. God Bless you all! GerryS. Iowa
