    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Started with FOLFOX for four months, 6 hour infusion with two weeks of pills - cold sensitivity, nausea, metal taste in mouth, fatigue during week after treatment. Treatment done every three weeks with a week off in between. Treatment did not do a thing to the cancer, got worse, all tumors grew significantly larger and his platelets dropped like a rock. Now on 5FU 48 hour infusion every other week...only had ONE treatment and he had an allergic reaction, platelets crashed, immune system nearly wiped out and fatigue. He is also battling an infection, constant low grade fever. Going back next week to discuss ANOTHER treatment. Really hoping something works without horrible side effects.
