    Radioactive Iodine Ablation

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

The agent was easy enough to drink but I did have some mucositis (mouth sores and pain) and the steroids given for nausea made me wired. Also it is a week long process, I had to leave work early for two days and then take the rest of the week off d/t being radioactive. I had surgery in 2007 and relapsed in 2012 and had ablation in 2012. I had to stop my synthroid and eat the low iodine diet, It was difficult for me physically and mentally to get back to feeling normal after treatment. A month later and I finally do. :)
