    Abdominal hysterectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

I was diagnosed with a abdominal mass and scheduled for surgery. My CA 125 was only 70 so was given a "90%" chance this mas was benign. I woke up from surgery with the surgeon telling me it was cancer.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Chemotherapy was started approximately one month after my surgery. I had two ports, one subclavian and one abdominal port. I am currently living away from my immediate family, caring for my father. I had to make arrangements to have someone take me to chemo and someone to stay with me after for several days due to the sideffects. I will say I had strong family support during this period.
