Decision Point
Went to one oncologist and was advised to have radioactive "seeding" treatment. Then I had several friends and family members tell stories of their friends that had their protates completely removed via the robotic surgery method. I called two of friends who had the robotics removal prodecure and they both responded with very positive results regarding incontinence and sexual functions. At this point the cancer is at the "just discovered stage" of 3-4%, Gleason score at 6 in two areas of 20 biopsy samples taken. We are taking the wait and see position and will have another biopsy in 6 months to measure any further growth. At that point we will consult with recommended surgeons that have used and have personal experience and track record using the robotics method of removal.
