    Internal radiation

    Radiation

The radiation was not painful but the side affects were hard on me. The burning and sores in my mouth were and are hard to endure. The radiation did take care of my sinus cancer but the cancer spread to the rest of my body i.e. lungs, liver, kidney and 25 percent of my bone marrow.

    Painless Experience: Strongly Disagree
    Minimal Side Effects: Disagree

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

chemo was the only other recourse as my radiation limit was reached. This is the hardest part of the journey. Pain constantly due to the cancer and not being able to taste or want food again was and is difficult. I force myself to eat. The pain pills make me constipated which bothers me greatly. The stomach feeding tube they put in helped to to stay alive with Carnation Very High Calorie canned food. My mouth sores are the most painful and bothersome.
