Diagnosed
Oh No
All my lab markers point to multiple myleloma, but until I have a bone marrow biopsy I am not completely diagnosed especially as to what stage I am in. I have been on Coumadin for blood clots in the lungs and left leg and should be off it in October if my Pulmonologist agrees, than later in october or November I will finally find what stage I am in. I had my initial tests in May and June and the lab tests were bad. This waiting for a complete diagnosis is really upsetting me. I thought having endometrial cancer was bad but for the most part surgery did away with that is is just all the complications after surgery that almost killed me. At least I knew the stage and my survival prognosis. With MM it is not curable and it is hard to determine a prognosis. If I am in stage i or 2 I know I have a better prognosis.
