    Finished treatment

    Celebration

I finished treatment a year after my surgery. I went from seeing the dermatologist every 3 months to twice a year. I'm now 8 years cancer free and only go 1time per year. As I've gotten older, my parents started explaining my diagnosis and encouraged me to get active with the ACS and Relay For Life. They also have encouraged me to share my story with other Native Americans, especially the girls who tan.
