Oh No
My husband retired Sept 7 2011. Within a week of retirement he started having stomach issues that he believed were from the stress of the recent retirement. Three weeks later the "issues" were so bad he was in the ER with extreme pain. Before he had been retired even a month he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. The pain is still building daily. Port is scheduled to be implanted Oct 31 and the first round of Chemo is on Nov 1, 2011. What was supposed to be his chance to relax has become a whirlwind of doctor's appointments and procedures.
