    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Although cancer runs heavily on my mother's side of the family, I was hoping as the first grandchild it would skip me..I felt a hard mass in my left breast and my left should would hurt very bad. My primary doctor sent me to get a mamogram and it came back positive. I kinda felt it would be. When I got to my car after leaving the doctor's office all I could do was scream and cry.

What type of treatment will I receive and what can I do to help my body heal

    Decision Point

I had a very good team of doctors, and we decided I will have chemotherpy, surgery, and then radiatio. I also changed my diet. Fruits, vegetables, and nutritional drinks and cleansers.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Doing chemo treatment I lost my appetite, lost weight, and had a horrible taste in my mouth. I was very tired and weak, so I had to force my self to get up and move around at times.

    Hair loss (alopecia)

    Side Effects

My hair came out doing my third week of chemo. I expected that but what really upset me was when I got numbness in my fingers and toes with neropothy. One of my finger nails got infected and came off and that hurted . I cried.
