Drug or Chemo Therapy
I also have severe aplastic anemia and the chemo IBVD severly impacts my blood counts. I also have had difficulty with nausea. Drugs help to some degree. I am very weak but half way thru chemo. 6 more to go and I am praying the lyphoma has been treated.
Anemia (low red blood cell counts)
Side Effects
Having severe aplastic anemia prior to getting hodgins lyphoma has presented many challenges. I am now living on blood transfusions. Feel very weak. Neulasta shots have helped in maintaining my white blood counts. Pallet counts very low. Dr. indicates that the chemo will soon act as an immunospressant and will help my counts.
