Diagnosed
Oh No
I never expected this...I thought it was hemmoroids
Chemotherapy and radiation combined
Drug or Chemo Therapy
I'm dealing with an open wound that occurred during my cancer surgery, that is not healing, due to the radiation damage.
Colostomy
Procedure or Surgery
The colostomy was the easy part. Still dealing with fit issues, since I have lost around 50 lbs. since surgery, but basically, this is the gravy.
Chemo brain
Side Effects
Hate losing words!
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Other Care
During the initial surgery to remove the cancerous tumor, a wound occurred near the incision where the rectum was removed. It is still an open wound, and after packing, debridement, using a wound vacuum, a second surgery to close the wound, we are now trying HBO to close the wound.
