I was very fortunate because of the medical team that made my treatment experience pretty good. I was diagnosed in 2009 with Prostrate cancer stage II. This was 2yrs after I retired so I was not planning on that happening. My father died from prostrate cancer in 1998. So I was glad for the medical team because they gave me options and once I did my research and made my decision they supported me. I experienced little pain expect for a reaction to some of the meds. Biggest challenge for me has been fatigue and lack of energy and lack of sexual function. I attribute my healing to God and my medical team at the cancer center.
