    Hormone therapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Initially many side effects for about 6 months, but then tapered off over time to only the effects of Lupron injections every 4 months for about a week..

What treatment was best for me

    Decision Point

I waited two months while researching treatment options and getting 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions before deciding on Casodex and Lupron.

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

High PSA found in routine physical in early June. By August got a diagnosis of Stage IV, Gleason 8 prostate cancer that had metastasized to my right iliac (hip bone).
