    Wide excision surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

I've had many surgeries. The most major was an ILP (Isolated Limb Profusion) on my whole right leg. This caused extensive swelling requiring physical therapy to relieve the lymph edima and resulted in painful neoropathy in my feet which I still have 5 years later.

    Chemotherapy and immunotherapy combined (biochemotherapy)

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I had strong chemo twice which made me lose all my hair. Also the immunotherapy has permanently affected my system and made me allergic to the sun. I break out in an ichy rash when ever I have any exposure to sun light.

I'm currently at a decision point and don't know how to proceed

    Decision Point

I've been very fortunate in that my melanoma has always been slow growing and so far has stayed in my leg. Some of my clinical trials have had some success, but it always comes back. I'd like to try a new trial that has more promising results, but am not aware of any at this time.
