    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Diagnosed due to either fighting Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) for almost 20 years or due to 2 of the drugs I have been taking to control it.

To begin treatment or not due to it being a low grade

    Decision Point

Decided to go for it because it might help with side effects of RA

The Tumors have not grown but they also have not gone away

    Oh No

This is after 6 treatments. The tumors should have been completely gone - but they are still there. I am trying to keep my head up.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I am now on Treanda and Rituxin. I made it through the first round fine. But, the second round did me in a little bit. The drugs are now burning as they go in. I am queasy and exhausted. It takes me a little over a week to feel back to myself again. I am not looking forward to the rest of this treatment.

    Celebration

I received the results of my scan yesterday and I am not in remission!!! I will begin maintenance therapy in April. I will receive Rituxin every 3 months for the next two years to try to keep the NHL in remission for as long as possible. I AM SO HAPPY!!!!
