Decision Point
After a long battle and slow recovery, I began to do volunteer work for cancer advocacy. I attended Relay for Life events, walking as a survivor first, then later, building a team with my daughter. I joined cancer support groups online. I built a cancer resource site on Facebook. Here is the link to it: Cancer- Financial Assistance, Resources, Scholarships, Info http://www.facebook.com/cancerfinancialassistance Last December, I started to write an online feature for cancer advocacy. Here is the link to it: Sarah Dees, Tampa Bay Cancer Advocacy Examiner http://www.examiner.com/cancer-advocacy-in-tampa-bay/sarah-dees All are welcome. I am posting an article on the feature tonight to introduce this site to my readers.
