    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Have had breathing problems since beginning of September 2011. Was not expecting lung cancer diagnosis (Stage IIIB Adenocarcinoma) I'm not a smoker. Also had pneumonia a couple of times in the last year or so (never had pneumonia before then). I have two children (aged 16 and 13), so my biggest fear is not being there for them.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I had my first chemo on Monday 10/31.., yea scary Halloween. I didn't feel much the first couple of days. The digestive upset is really awful still on the Saturday after. Bone pain and body aches easier to deal with.

    Radiation

Radiation Oncologist told me that my tumors were too numerous to immediately treat with radiation (I am also non-operable at this point). The reason is that the sensitive lung tissue could become too damaged. After my final chemo in Dec, he will check my scans to see if I'm more treatable.
