    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I was told that I had a benign tumor after many tests and that we would keep on eye on it. This was in February 2006. In September 2006 i had another mammogram and visited my surgeon who said something doesn't feel right so lets remove it.

    Radiation

I believe I did 5 days a week for 6 weeks. The procedure didn't take as long as getting undressed and ready

    Hair loss (alopecia)

    Side Effects

I guess the biggest deal was the hair loss. Exactly two week after chemo started it started to fall out. I wish someone would have told me to cut it short. My family did not like my wig at all.
