    Colon surgery (colectomy or hemicolectomy)

    Procedure or Surgery

After a two week post op visit I kept telling my surgeon that I had abdominal pain in the right upper quadrant and he kept telling me it was normal. Then after another week he sent me for another CT scan. After my CT scan they told me to wait in the waiting room (that never happened before). Then they told me to go straight to the ER. This was on a Saturday morning. I had an infection from the surgery on the outside of my colon and had to get a drain put in and spend a few more days at the hospital..
