It was a very large dose of rads w/ simultaneous chemo. The Miami Winn Dixie American Cancer Society Hope Lodge provided shelter, and help during treatment.

During this time, despite expected infertility from treatment, I was blessed with beautiful healthy twin boys on Easter Sunday 1995!

Mri revealed mass that had formed in the left temporal bone, auditory canal, carotid artery, and jugular vein.

Although the Dr. could not verify that I would survive the surgery to remove the tumor, it was increadible how well it went, and how quickly I recovered.

Celebration
Following the surgery, and treatment at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, since Nov. 1995 I've been in full remission. Even though I still deal with side effects from the cancer, and treatment. I thank God for every day I get to be with my children, family and friends! I want to continue to give hope to others! Celebrate! Remember! Fight Back!
