    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

August 2012...double mastectomy together with the first part of reconstruction inplants, injection in expanders every two or three weeks, the second half of reconstruction to be completed in three months. I had no idea what to expect. I knew it was a big deal and expected discomfort and sizable recovery time but this is much more than I anticipated.

    Went as Expected: Strongly Disagree
    Minimal Recovery: Strongly Disagree
    Minimal Side Effects: Strongly Disagree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Strongly Disagree
