    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Nausea was unbearable. After trying zofran, marinol, compazine and marijuana the only thing that worked for me was Ativan. In fact, it worked so well, I was able to get a round of adriamycin/Cytoxan and continue working full time.

    Procedure or Surgery

I could only have a lumpectomy and a few nodes removed because my cancer was so aggressive the doctor kept me on oral chemotherapy throughout the procedure and for two months after. My white cell count was too low for major surgery.

    Radiation

I am almost finished with radiation. It had to be postponed for 4 months because my cancer came back with a vengeance right before I was supposed to start radiation. I had to be put on 4 rounds of doxel and Cytoxan. I have one more week of radiation.you feel tired but it's not a big deal. I am having radiation on my right breast, right axial region, left axial region and the right neck up to the base of my skull. My neck and upper chest area have opens sore, but not painful.

I will be starting a trial for triple negative breast cancer patients with brca 1

    Clinical Trial

If you have genetic mutation like BRCA 1 or 2 there is a pretty significant chance that the cancer will come back because you don't have any protection. Usually with BRCA 1 it comes back to the brain or lungs, I am entering a clinical trial that will most likely kill the genetic mutation and prevent the cancer from ever coming back.
