Surgery through the anus to remove tumor

    Procedure or Surgery

After years of bleeding and going to the doctor and being told I had hemorroids and having them banded, a colonoscopy showed a polyp that was embeded in my blood vessels. I had surgery to remove the "polyp" and the doctor who removed it told me it was nothing. When the pathology report came back, I had Anal Cancer Stage 2.
