Diagnosed
Oh No
I was praying this was a cyst--But NO--The Big C
Lumpectomy
Procedure or Surgery
My surgery went well + they removed a small tumor
whether to follow up with radiation
Decision Point
Right now I want to avoid a radiation follow up. I do not like the side effects. You also have to take harmon drugs. I am wondering if I can just take the drugs insteadf?
External radiation
Radiation
I have 2 more days of radiation. It seemed to go fast. My breast is red now, but no problems. Aquaphor is a great cream (or generic--walgreens}--Also wash clothes in woolite, so you won"t get irritation. I take a hormone drug also (no side effects}. Originally they wanted me to have kemo also. But when my gene test showed low occurance of coming back, I chose radiation only. Everything has worked out fine so far. I pray it stays that way.
