Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
On July 16th my dad has his first radation & chemo treatment. Radiation went perfectly but somethign happend at the end of his 6 hour chemo. Long story short he was rushed by ambulance to the hospital next door and was in severe pain. He was admited, then moved to ICU. While in ICU he ended up on life support for about 2-3 weeks, had dailysis & 2 or 3 blood transfusions. I have never been that close with my dad but this is making me a lot closer.
Breakthrough
Celebration
My dad was released from the hospital after 68 days on 9/21/12. While in the hospital he lost his job, FMLA ran out, and his house was foreclosed on. He moved in with my oldest brother and his wife.
