    Oh No

My diagnosis is a week old and my head is still spinning.

    Good test result.

My MRI results came back clear so now I'm just waiting to hear from the surgeon about a date for surgery. I don't know if this means that there won't be radiation and chemo or not as extensive as I was told, or maybe it means nothing at all. But I'm not worried about that, I'm just celebrating the good news and enjoying the moment.

    Axillary Lymph Node Dissection

    Procedure or Surgery

On Tuesday, Oct. 16 I had a partial mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection. Recovery is going very well as I have had minimal pain and discomfort. Though I complain about the inconveniences - drain tube, fatigue, interruption to routine - I am doing very well and so far the impact is small. We await the results of pathology and the next step.

    Went as Expected: Neutral/NA
    Minimal Recovery: Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Disagree
