    Cancer is back/Recurred

    Oh No

    this is my second primary third diagnosis. Had a local recurrence after mastectomy, well for 16 years then new primary. cancer not detected on mammo, and had been examined by 6 health practitioners in the year seeking propholactic mastectomy , then found it in the shower myself

    Had AC and taxol. pretty rough. lost weight, weak, and aquired peripheral neuropathy.

    had further surgery to remove implant and then had to have surgery on a fissure developed from chemo issues,

    did well with radiation, but develped extreme fatigue afterwards. possibly delayed response.

    hardest thing for me to deal with is the inability to work as a nurse secondary to the peripheral neuropathy. continue to hope it will resolve.

    Side Effects

    I had an extreme reaction to the chemo, nausea, anorexia, and constipation diahrea. Rashes, and pain and fatique. I crawled across the finish line, but am glad I did it.
