I was visiting my kids in nearby city and woke up on sunday morning preparing to drive back home and started feeling sick to my stomach then it started swelling till i looked 9 mos pregnant and then the pain set in and i could barely sit up my son rushed me to er and they done x-ray with contrast and ot a phone said i had total blockage in colon they put a tube down my nose and then i got a phone call while still in er that my brother passed away they admitted me in hospitial stayed 4 days on liquid diet they couldnt do a colonoscopy due to blockage I told Drs. i was leaving to go to my brothers funeral one way or another they agreed to release me if I would go to local hospitial as soon as funeral was over.

i signed my self in at local hospitial and that evening the surgeons asst. came in to speak to me before i had surgery to remove blockage. she said after reviewing the dvd the other hospitial sent they sould be able to remover the cancer with no problem. MY MOUTH DROPPED OPEN!!! i couldnt believe what she had just said cancer THE BIG C after a couple mins it sank in and i said okay lets get this done cause i dont have time in my life for cancer i have a grandbaby due in july i need to get back to work i have my big horse to take care of as well as all my mini horses. I need to get the surgery over cause i have to be there for my sister who is very ill due to COPD and our brother had just passed so her and I are only ones left. I had one million and one reasons i didnt have time for it.
