Procedure or Surgery
I had a biopsy done of the mass in my chest; a bone marrow biopsy. Both of these were done to confirm diagnosis. I also had a mediport inserted for ease of chemotherapy treatments.
Low white blood cell counts (neutropenia)
Side Effects
I experience several side effects: lightheadness (sometimes severe), fatigue, calf muscle weakness/pain, anemia, low white blood cell count, mood changes (times where I just want to cry), hair loss and loss of appetite.
