Chemotherapy and radiation combined
Drug or Chemo Therapy
It's all about adjusting every day with a new goal and telling yourself it will get better. Having a good support system. Life will never be the same.
External radiation
Radiation
Having radiation to cover lung means your throat and below are sore hard to swallow, giving up some foods and drinks. The drying of the skin was tough to this day I still put on lots of lotion.
Flu-like symptoms (fever, chills, sweats)
Side Effects
Fatigue everyday you just learn how much you can do, chemo brain, no desire for food, some smells literally make you sick. I lived knowing where every bathroom was due to a cancer med. Hair loss was the worst for me wore a wig.
Cancer has spread/Metastasized
