    Oh No

I am a three time cancer survivor. 1998 - breast cancer. 2006 - pancreatic cancer. 2009 - lung cancer. When I learned I had breast cancer it was a real 'Oh no" experience. It's been14 years. The other cancers are in remission. Another 'here we go again'. I feel like a 'walking miracle'. What helped through were my family and friends. Chemo is HARD. I vowed to my self that I would be as positive a person as possible. I work out at the gym, go for walks..live my life as normal as I can. My grand kids are my biggest factor for living!! When I go anywhere I try to look good. A little mascara and lipstick go a long way. I work with American Cancer Society each June. I collect donations in memory of my daughter who passed at age 45 from kidney cancer. I collect in honor of so many people who are still here. I just thank God every day. That he keep me strong, positive and active. 'Active' is a very important part of recovery. The good Lord be with all of us.
