    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I could'nt believe it. I never missed my annual Gyn exam. i had a complete exam just 2 months before. When I first saw the Oncologist and he did a manual exam, he described it as amassive amount of tumors. Why did'nt my Gyn doc pick up on this?

    Procedure or Surgery

My oncology surgeon was wonderful, caring and competent. However I am left with a colostomy which was a shock. Having to deal with that plus recoviring from surgery and chemo was hard.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Tried carbo Taxol for 5 months, They then did a cat scan which showed it was not working. Next was Cistoplastin and Gemzyr, 6 treatments, Cat scan showed that cancer was stable. However, Dr. took me off it due to increased creatine levels, reduced platelets etc.
