    Oh No

went to have my annual mamogram which i did every year i had been sweeting since it was hot that day even after my shower and the lady doing the test said there was a blurr wanted to take another picture i said ok, then she said she would be right back well she never came back to the room a doctor did at that moment i knew somthing wasnt right he said to me if you have a little more time could we do an ultra sound i said ok . they did one right away and then the doctor came back and said that the reader of the test saw a mass way in my left breast and if i could come back tommorrow and get a biopse, i said ok and went home in shock, thought about it for a while and called them back and said no i just want it out i didnt want to pull things through my body i didnt want it to spread the doc knew it was cancer..

    Lumpectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

well 2 days later they did surgury and not only did they find one mass but none of the tests showed the other one that was there so none of the tests showed anything for three years, they removed them .

    Body part/function

    Loss

isince the lumpectomy i always had it on my mind that i lived month by month, it consumed my thoughts and i coulnt live with it any more my blood tests were coming back with higher levels and my doctor said it was from being around people that smoked, but that wasnt it cause i didnt change anything that i did before so i went to another cancer surgen and asked him what would be my chances for reacurrance and he told me around 80% i worried all the time it consumed my thoughts i didnt want to go through all that stuff again so on december 13th i had a double mascetomy and i wish i would have not been in such shock and i would have had that the firsrt time ,the radiation burned my skin so bad that i can never recieve reconstruction on my breasts i feel ugly and i get grabbing pains on the left breat area i dont know what the future brings for me i live day by day.
