    Oh No

I woke up with a sore throat in July didn't think much of it until the soreness went away but the swollen lymph node did not! Went in to see a Dr. she gave me antibiotic shot, steroid shot and antibiotic prescription for two weeks....no change it just seemed to keep getting bigger and more uncomfortable. Ended up being sent to an E N T Specialist , begged him for a biopsy, he said an Contrast CT scan would need to come first so he would know the size and depth of it, so he could get a good biopsy. went in for that it was an Ultrasound guided biopsy 1 numbing needle and 6 biopsy needles!!! I am not into needles! October 2 he called with the news that it was Cancer and explained that it did not originate there so a PET scan was ordered to find the primary. And on the 11th I got those results..the cancer (Squamous cell carcinoma) is in my tonsil on the left side. Surgery is scheduled for this Tuesday the 16th.
