    Type of Treatments

    Decision Point

All of my blood work was comming up negative for Estregon, HER2, etc. Even the test for Cancer running in my family was negative. My mother died of Breast Cancer in 1980, at age 54. She was diagnosed at age 50 and had a radical massectomy. The doctors said, that I feel in a category of unknown cause, so they wanted to do all treatments, surgery, radation and chemo. It was stage 1 breast cancer, grade 3 - agressive.

    External radiation

    Radiation

Dec 5 - 10, 2011 with minimal discomfort. Just some redness like a sunburn and very tried. I did a five day (twice a day) radation as part of a study, instead of a 10 month treatment. The side effects didn't really start until March/April 2012.

    Painless Experience: Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Agree
