    Oh No

Just did not seem real. Small breakdown then I just did what I had to do and got on with it.

    Surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

I had the daVinci surgery and it was amazing. The after pain level was just great. They removed the cervix, uterus, tubes and ovaries. The healing was sort of slow and it was a full year before I felt really strong health wise. I do have other health issues so that did not help.

    Lost loved one

    Loss

Two weeks after my surgery my best friend was told she had lung to liver cancer and there was nothing they could do. She died 6 months later and this had a huge effect on me and my mindset while trying to recover. She had quit smoking 19 years before and died of lung cancer. I had only stopped 10 years ago and this scared me to death. I felt quilty for being so lucky and that was a big hurdle for me as well.
